The short version
Your family's information belongs to your family. Each family has its own private app with its own separate database, and we use what you put in only to run All's Wells for you. There are no ads, we never sell or share your data for advertising, and there is no third-party analytics or tracking. A few outside services help us deliver the app, like the company we rent our server from and the network that carries your traffic. You can delete your own login or your whole family at any time, and you can email us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.
Who we are
All's Wells is a service of Wells Automation LLC, Virginia, USA. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Wells Automation LLC, and "your family" means the household that has its own All's Wells app, like yourfamily.allswells.family.

What we keep
Account details
- Each person's name, and a username for everyone who signs in.
- An email address, only if you add one. We use it only for password resets and your family's own notices.
- Your password, stored only as a salted hash: a scrambled form that can't be turned back into your password. We never store the password itself.
What your family adds
Everything your family enters in the app, for example:
- schedules and plans, rides and carpools, and trips
- chores, points and rewards
- meals, shopping lists and to-do lists
- the household budget and bills
- kids tracking logs, like potty and baby logs
- bulletin board notes
- photos your family uploads, such as chore proof and pictures for notes, meals and wall displays
- game scores and Movie Night lists
- anything you import from a spreadsheet
Each family's information lives in that family's own separate database.
Device and technical details
- If you turn on notifications, a push address (also called a token) for your device, so we can deliver them.
- Technical logs kept by our server and by Cloudflare, such as IP addresses, browser or app version and the pages requested. We use them for security and troubleshooting, and keep them for a limited time.
On this website
- The "get started" form saves the name and email you type, plus your family size and message if you add them, so we can reply. We also note the time and your IP address to help stop spam. Each request is also emailed to us.
- The sign-in box on allswells.family remembers the last family address you opened, on your device only, so it can offer a quick "Continue" button. This website never asks for your password.
How we use it
- To run All's Wells for your family: showing your plans, sending the notifications and emails you ask for, and resetting passwords.
- To keep the service running and secure: stopping abuse, fixing problems and making backups.
- To answer you when you write to us or send feedback from the app.
We never look at a family's data except to help when the family asks, or to keep the service running and secure.
What we never do
- No advertising, in the app or on this website.
- We never sell your data or share it for advertising.
- No third-party analytics or tracking.
- No location tracking. All's Wells never asks for your device's location. Weather uses the ZIP code you type, and only if you turn weather on.
Services that help us run All's Wells
- Hostinger rents us the server where each family's database lives.
- Cloudflare carries the traffic between your device and our server, and forwards email we receive.
- Google Drive stores the backup copies of each family's data (see Backups).
- Push notification services. If someone turns on notifications, the notification text is delivered through their device maker's push service: Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft for web notifications, and the Apple Push Notification service in the iPhone app.
- Email. We send password resets, confirmations and family notices from our own mail server, from security@, feedback@ and [email protected]. Feedback you send from the app comes to us by email.
These companies handle information under their own privacy policies.
Features that connect only when you turn them on
These features contact another service only after someone in your family turns them on.
- Weather: your ZIP code is sent to zippopotam.us to look up your area, and to the US National Weather Service (api.weather.gov) to get the forecast.
- Wall display photos from iCloud: if you add an iCloud shared album link, our server fetches those photos from Apple.
- News feeds: our server reads the RSS feeds your family adds, from the websites you choose.
- Calendar subscription links: a private link that your calendar app, such as Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook, reads to show your family's plans. When your calendar app reads the link, the company behind it may receive those plans.
Wall display and calendar links are private links that can't be guessed. Anyone who has one can see what it shows, so share them only with screens and people you trust.
Backups
We keep backup copies of each family's data so nothing is lost if something goes wrong. The backups are stored in Google Drive. When a family is deleted, its backups are deleted along with it (see Deleting your data).
Payments
All's Wells does not take payments yet. When it does, card payments will be handled by the payment provider (for example Stripe or Apple), and we will never see or store your card number. We will update this policy before that starts.
Children
All's Wells is for families and is run by parents. A parent, the head of household, creates any child profiles and child logins and controls them. We do not knowingly let children sign up on their own.
A parent can ask us to review or delete a child's information at any time by writing to [email protected].
Deleting your data and your choices
Delete your own login
Any member of your family can delete their own login in the app: Settings › My account › Delete my login. Your username, password, reset email and notification devices are deleted right away. Your profile and the things you added stay with your family, which the head of household controls.
Delete your whole family
The head of household can delete the whole family: Settings › My account › Delete our family. Everyone is signed out at once, and everything, including backups, is permanently deleted after 30 days. Until then, your family can change its mind by emailing [email protected].
Ask us
You can email [email protected] to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also turn off notifications and any of the optional features above whenever you like.
Step-by-step help, including what to do if you can't sign in, is on our account deletion page.
Keeping it safe
- HTTPS everywhere, between your device and All's Wells.
- Passwords are stored only as salted hashes.
- Each family is kept separate, with its own app and its own database.
- Sign-in attempts are rate limited to slow down password guessing.
No system is perfect. If something goes wrong that affects your family's information, we will tell you promptly.
Where your data lives
Your family's data is stored on our server in the United States (Boston, Massachusetts). Backup copies are kept in Google Drive, which may store them in Google's data centers in other countries.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is important, we will also announce it in the app.
